The big daddy of soft love stories is back. We are talking about director Ezhil, who is known for ‘Thulladha Manamum Thullum’, ‘Pennin Manadhai Thottu’, ‘Poovellam Un Vasam’ and ‘Deepavali’.

The filmmaker is all set to start his new project, titled ‘Sirukadhai’. “New faces will play prominent roles in this movie, which will hit the floors soon,” say circles close to him.

“It is a story set in the backdrop of village romance. Apart from freshers, Singam Puli, Jagan, Mollywood actor Innocent are doing key roles. Music is by D Imman and the film will be produced by Krishnakumar,” they add.

90 per cent of ‘Sirukadhai’ will be shot in Kayathur in Tiruvarur district. The remaining 10 per cent will be filmed in exotic locations in Kerala. Apart from romance, comedy will also get importance in the script.
